Frank Newman III, a 30-year Wells Fargo veteran, leads the Rocky Mountain Region which covers Colorado, Montana and Wyoming. Based in Denver, Newman is responsible for approximately 3,500 team members who serve customers at 240 stores. The Rocky Mountain Region has approximately $29.3 billion in consumer and business deposits.
Wells Fargo’s regional businesses in the three Rocky Mountain states include Retail Banking, Mortgage, Commercial and Business Banking, Ag Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management, Retail Brokerage, Government/Municipal Finance, Foreign Exchange, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and more.
Newman joined Wells Fargo in 1984 as an analyst in Miami. His tenure with Wells Fargo has included regional and senior staff roles in California, North Carolina and Georgia as well as several markets in Florida. Prior to his current position, Newman was regional president for South Florida.
Throughout his career, Newman has been an active member of the community. He currently serves on the boards of directors for Mile High United Way and the Colorado Bankers Association.Newman holds an undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University and a graduate degree from Barry University.
